Security 1 organises conference on trends and technologies in security and ELV

Security 1, a leading security and extra low voltage (ELV) solutions provider based in Bahrain and a division of Ebrahim K. Kanoo, organised a customer meet on trends and technologies in Security and ELV systems. Held in partnership with leading technology partners Axis, Ruckus, TBS and Datwyler, the event targeted consultants, MEP contractors, and end users from the banking industry and other fields. The interactive conference was attended by more than 80 attendees from across many sectors.

Ebrahim K. Kanoo Director, Waleed Kanoo, who opened the event, said: ”Security 1 is always committed to offering best-of-breed products and solutions to combat the growing security threats being faced from a range of sources. As we move to an era of sophisticated security threats, organisations and governments need to be vigilant and adaptive against organised attacks by engaging trusted security partners.”

The presentation was delivered by Security 1 General Manager, Ramgopal Menon to an audience that represented diverse industries. He said: “IP-based technologies in electronic security and ELV systems can be seamlessly integrated into multiple security products centered on cloud and mobility platforms. Security 1 has invested heavily in seasoned and experienced professionals to support customers from the design phase through to support and maintenance.”

The main focus of the conference was to highlight the development of analogue to IP technology in CCTV surveillance, access control systems, biometric time attendance systems, guest room management systems for the hospitality industry, AV systems, gate automations, and wireless networking and cabling solutions. Live presentations of key products were held in a separate technology booth, where delegates got the chance to experience the technology firsthand, and technical experts demonstrated the products in a live environment. The event also discussed the importance of a remote security operation centre to view and monitor security events from a distance. GPS systems with mobile and cloud-based technologies have changed the way enterprises can enhance productivity and fleet management through remote tracking. Security 1 has teamed up with leading technology partners to help the customers build a robust security network.
